problem with checking email with firefox

I upgraded to SP2 on my xp and now when I check yahoo or hotmail email I can log into yahoo but when I check on inbox or junk I can't get in. Is there something with DNS settings?

seems like any website with a lot of packet of info that gets transmitted I can't get on. Ebay, yahoo,hotmail are just some.. Anyone have solution? Dns problem? I did dnsflush already
