so, i finally tried my nitro-tech shake today. i ended up with chocolate because that's all they had. i've always been afraid of chocolate shakes because they hardly ever actually taste like chocolate. well, this one actually does. i must say, it's kinda tasty. i stuck in a blender with some milk and half a banana and i could actually drink this just as a drink. not powdery or chunky at all. very pleasantly surprised. i would recommend it just on taste alone. not sure about anything else about it though.

sidenote: When I started, I knew nothing and was actually scared of supplements.

I'm going to go against the grain and say that there's nothing wrong with a little protien shake after a good workout, even for noobs. If you worked out like you're supposed to and got a nice fatigue/tightness in the muscles, you need nutrients and rest. Just be sure to remember that a supplement is an extra source of food, and it doesn't replace your regular meals.
But other than protien milkshakes, vitamins, and minerals I don't think that noobs need to use supps.
