Replace endemic then, with something like spectrum, selection, variety, whatever.

Endemic has nothing to do with it. It's a synonym of indigenous.

Anyway, I was just being facetious by correcting what's pretty much an obvious mistake. Didn't mean to make a fuss out of it.
