Everyone should learn math. Even if you suck at it in HS (like I did), take a pre-calc course in college and then work your way up.. I think anyone can do it if they really try and math applies to more than just one place and it definitely improves critical thinking and makes most other courses easy. Even business courses that have some small statistcal analysis are just that much easier when you learn math. Math is great.

Calc 1-4, differential equations, matrix calculus, prob and stat, data analysis 1-2.. I think there are others..

its easy once you get taught the material and not the test you have to study for.

 

i know a human resource manager that makes over $100 an hour :run:

 

my gf makes nearly 6 figures. my friend has made 80K so far this year (take home not gross). if the last deal he is working on goes through he'll double that easily.

he is the vp of sales at his company so most of his pay is commissioned. he is good at what he does and his pay reflects it.

but what do i care if others are making 150-300k. I got my happiness

So says the mathematician. I'm sure the English major says it's easy if you read a lot. The whore would say it's easy after the first one. The computer guy like me says, don't be an idiot and you won't get a virus. Some people are just good at some things, so it's hard for them to understand why others don't get it as easily. It's just talent. You're born with it. Others can learn but it won't come to them as easily. Jessica Simpson is naturally hot but Britney Spears has to dye her hair and put on makeup.
