You drunk again?

Last winter I put my car up on a lift and pulled the wheels and douched the under carriage .

Unless of course you drive a beater that you just want to keep kind of clean.

The bad thing though, is that for all the scratches they give you, automatic carwashes don't even get all the grime off.

Your car gets dirty when you build up dirt and grit. Some of the automatic washes have high pressure water jets. Grit + high pressure = a sanding effect.
