Thanks Bonzo. Yep, as e30dood said, it's got 42k miles on it and I paid slightly north of $12k for it from the Mazda dealer. It's admittedly a bit much but the thing that sealed the deal for me was the hardtop. Hardtops can be tough to come by, especially ones in sapphire blue mica.

In case anyone's wondering, the reason e30dood/Kevin knows so much about the car is because he was there with me when I bought it. I asked him to look at a '96 with me earlier in the day that didn't end up being a worthwhile buy. Afterward, he said we should go check out the 2006 Miatas for fun even though we'd already driven them at the zoomzoomlive event. The saleslady brought us to the back of the building where the cars still needed to be prepped and that's when I saw it. We actually thought it belonged to an employee at first. Haha.

Unfortunately, yes. h: You can actually see it in the background along with the E30 in the first pic. I've got to clean it up and give it some love so that I can put it up for sale along with some other things. :happysad:

It's a cupholder that presses up against the passenger's leg that I can imagine gets annoying after a while. But I'm not planning on being a passenger often so I'm keeping it in for now.

Thanks for all the comments, even the wiseass ones. h: Now I'm wondering how long it will be before I try putting different wheels on it. :rick:

Hey man you didn't mention the hardtop on AIM when you told me about it. h:

The vent balls don't look that bad. You also have an aftermarket leather boot on the handbrake, and that little leather pillow dealie on the armrest. Looks like the previous owner was quite the accessorizer.

And dude, you have an extra set of floor mats? Wanna hook me up? :naughty:
