I personally go for sylvania cool blue. I once put a coolblue on one headlight and a silverstar on the other, and they looked identical. They've lasted me for three years on my nissan and are running fine on my escalade

I know this is probably a stupid question, but did you touch the glass? Your skin oils on the glass will cause it to fail almost immediately.

my silverstars (knock on wood) that I run in my headlights and fog lights have lasted for about 6 months now.

check your fuses see if any blew, i had one silverstar blow on me but i still loved them
