Does anyone have a DVD recorder that records onto DVD?

Like a settop box for the TV or one in the computer?

Can someone record Emeril Live "Food Network Channel" tonight for me on DVD... My friend is on the show and she doesn't have a recorder... I think it comes on at 7 or 8pm...
