Default NJ cops get pulled over doing 95+ in VA

Article

Basically a VA deputy pulled over a bunch of NJ cops on their way back from a Katrina hit area. The NJ cops were doing 95+ with their lights on even though their was no emergency. The NJ sheriff says some words about the VA deputy. Hilarity ensues.

I'm really glad that VA cop stood up to them. Makes the NJ cops look like a bunch of asses.

well # 1. I think the Jersey police were wrong.
They were not going to an emergency. They were coming back FROM one.

I understand if they were on their way to N.O but, I think the VA cop was in the right for stopping these speeders. The fact of the matter is as stated in VA law,

"it is illegal to operate emergency lights when there is no emergency."

they are in someone elses town so obey the rules. Now you know if they get stopped they arent going to get a ticket. I guess its the fact that they felt disrespected for being stopped.

Ohh well...The phone call was pretty funny too.

I dont talk to duputies...lol
