Fox Sports made me bust out my old Smashing Pumpkins CDs
For some reason, somebody at Fox Sports thought it would be a good idea to score their promo for the baseball playoffs with "Cherub Rock," the first track off the pumpkins' album, Siamese Dream. I will admit, it's a good song, but not exactly current pop type stuff that usually finds its way into promo spots for tv coverage of major sports events. Kinda cool. Back in the day I was a big pumpkinhead along with several of my friends. I have a total of 13 of their cds. So I decided to bust out with Siamese Dream, and yeah, it's a damn good album. I haven't listened to any pumpkins for a while, just cuz I got burnt out on em. But now I remember why I liked them so much. Thank you Fox!
