Default Nice car, No racing it, Who's with me?

I was just thinking, If you buy a brand new 2006 civic, why the hell ruin it in the same month racing it? Street Racing and stuff, totally stupid.
You know why already, You destroy the car, and plus, sides that you can get grabbed by cops and get done for, just for doing stupid stuff.
I've been reading arround these forums, Honda S2000 VS Nissan 240SX, wow.
The guy with the Nissan was a bit dumb going off racing and stuff. Now, If I'd have an S2000 I wouldn't go arround Racing it, you'r gonna ruin a BEAUTIFUL Roadster of 30k. Same as with an Acura NSX, why buy an 80k Car and stuff it up in Racing? I wouldn't ruin a 30k HondaAcura Motor just for Races.

I think Racing Honda/Acura Cars are a bit dumb.
I mean, ok fine you got a NICE Car let's say a Mitsubishi Eclipse 2006, you wanna race but its ust ruining the thing, You buy an 11k Honda Civic 1999 Coupe and just shrank it to pieces in streets. Okay, Fine, you were smart buying a cheapbutt old used Civic to race up and do some Turbo in it.
and I hate when they grab an Honda Car and "Tune-It-Up" They ruin it.
The other day, I saw an 1993 Honda Del-Sol, They painted it BLACK, With cheap paint it SUCKED!, and they putted TOO LOW Body Kit, and a stupid Wing MORE TALLER UP THAN THE ROOF PANEL. I mean, what was that? and it even had ugly black rims, I mean, why would he do that? He just completely ruined a car because it looked UGLY.

If I'd get an Honda Car, and tune it up, that I think that doing those TOO MUCH tuning are immature people (I mean those ppl that put in complete body kits, bad paint and rims, and mess up the car badly). If I'd get an honda car, I just put it some EXCELLENT Rims, Black Tinted Windows, Put a Red or keep the normal Honda Logo, maybe if I want a little lower front bumper, and that is IT! I wouldn't like to paint it all over an ugly cheap paint color, put a Wing MORE HIGHER than the own cars roof and put ugly rims and don't forget to mention the cheapy plastic bumpers and skirts that make the thing TOO LOW.

Get a cheap used Honda/Acura car, Turbo it, Fix some parts, put a cheapy wingy and a cheapy bumpy, and then race it and choke it to pieces, and have fun. But getting a nice car and make it heavier and ruin it, no.
So who's with me about this?

If I'd install all those stuffed up things to make the car look more like "street racer", I'd use a Weight Reduction, Wouldn't be so ignorant to add more stupid weighty stuff on it and make the stuff slower up.

that is why most people on here are all about engine performance, internals, internal mods, etc...

I do agree with you to a certain extent, but there is a difference between going to the track to run and street racing and blowing internals. If a person has the money to go through engines left and right, let them. Those who don't have much money will take it a little easier or will just burn an engine and say F*** it and walk away.

a guys car is his soul. whatever he wants to do with it, i feel he has a right. i hate people that talk crap about people's cars and etc...when they have a bone stock car with nothing done to it. atleast the person modding it out is trying (in his own mind) to make it better both inside and out. don't hate just because you have a bone stock car.

What about people who are actually building the car right? And not weighing it down with body kits, wings, and fender rubbing 18" wheels? Do we have the right to chuckle at an ugly massacre of a car?

I do anyway so

You are fucking retarded, and have no idea what you just said right there You pretty much babbled, and said the SAME thing over and over. You misunderstand the whole concept of building a honda for power and performance. When you actually meet people like me, raiden, or omniscient, you would understand the world of hondas.

Wow where did you guys learn English?

Everyone has their reasons why they do what they do to their cars. That's why it's nice living in America instead of some place where they dictate what you can and cannot do.
If you don't like racing your car. Fine. If you like driving a stock car. Fine. But no way should anyone say you are a moron for doing what you do to your car. That is how and why we have the aftermarket - everyone has different opinions, needs, wants, and ideas. How boring would it be if everyone did the same thing?

And yes some people have extra money to get a brand new car? So what? If no one bought new cars there wouldn't be any used cars for the rest of us to tinker with. I've been racing Hondas LEGALLY since 1998. Is it fun? Yup! Is it cheap - in most ways so far. Has my car blown up or depreciated? nope.

Get your head out of your ass, seriously. Oxygen is good for your brain.

I dont totally agree w/ that right there. You're right, everyone does have their own needs, wants, opinions, and ideas, but in no way is putting on a 5ft. tall wing a NEED or a NEW idea. Its just plain stupid, no two ways about it.
This scene has been taken over by ricers (depending on where you live) and it is seriously making me disgusted. There is no way EVERYONE would be the same, just because we didnt put on a wing or altezza's. There are so many different ways to build a honda, for performance, style, or speed, without doing dumb shit like that. In general, most people dont have very good taste.

I'm still trying to decipher everything that Shizz said in his post. A word of advice Shizz: If you're not in school, please go to school and take an English as a second language class. I'm just kidding. Anyway, I don't think there's anything wrong with someone buying any type of honda and racing it legally, if they can afford to do so. I also don't think there's anything wrong with buying an inexpensive honda and putting a turbo in it, a swap, etc. That's what people do when they're into cars. They buy project cars and fix them up. I'm still working up to that level myself. And as for as the aesthetics of the car goes, if a person wants to throw on altezzas, projectors, and a spoiler that looks like a skyscraper then that's their business. You can't live life pleasing other people. Honestly I like a more subtle look, but it's all opinion. I can't hate the next man's style.

Well, I am not trying to grow up or grow down, But, I mean't for those guys that won't have alot of money, and they TRASH the cars in and out.
If those grab an Honda and BUILD IT RIGHT, Then Ok, that is awesome, But grab an Honda and UGLY IT OUT.... No.

You brought an Honda, You trash its engine, you have money, buy another one, repeat, Then its ok.
But for the others that can't....

and I am just saying here what I think right now, Not to come in and fight, and to get called a retarded, and I am sorry if I am stupid with my english, Because English IS my Secondary Lang.
