ib the more expensive one is more durable. i have had cheap ones snap in half and break. also, the handle makes a big difference if your goin to be diggin for a while. oh well, happy diggin!

^ i know cheap snow shovels do that snap and break.. the plastic ones esp..good wood handle and metal one last longer..
