I though this was an Si to tC comparison. I'd think it all comes down to personal taste in this comparison. I can't wait to see the comparison between the supercharged tC vs the Si. that should be a good matchup in a car and driver type show.

I'm sure that people will continue to buy the TC because of the value and the so called hip factor. Scion does offer some neat toys.... if you're 18

And although Honda probably wont own the compact segment, I'm sure they will have nearly the most if not the most sales of that type of car.

in my mind, i dont think the tC was made to compete with the civic.. toyota really only has that one 'sports' car now, being as the celica and mr2 are being discontinued.

that being said, i'd think the tC would be more comparable to the RSX. and in that comparison, the RSX would own it.

civic si, compare that to the corolla S. haha.

i guess it would depend on how you're comparing them. the base RSX costs about 4 grand more than the scion. i would say the tC competes better with an EX civic coupe.
