I was in the supermarket yesterday after work and there was this girl on line infront of me. She looked familiar, I think she was a trouble maker a few years behind me in high school. Anyway she goes and pays for all of her food items with food stamps. Mind you this girl was about 6'5 and atleast 350lbs. There was no way in hell she was starving. Anyway, after she uses the food stamps, she proceeds to buy cigarettes with a handfull of quarters. If you are in such dire need that you and your baby need to be on welfare don't you think you should spend you $6.50 on something else other than cigarettes

 

Was she driving a brand new car too?

 

I didn't look. She had on one of those ghetto fabulous running suits though the only running she looked like she ever did was to the fridge or kitchen table.

Because, you know, she's taking money that you could have bought yourself McDonald's with or something.

 

My whole point was if you are on welfare and can't afford to feed your family, don't waste your money on things you don't need such as cigarettes.

If you want to bring it to that point, why shouldn't it buy me something instead of someone that is abusing the system? I don't mind paying taxes that go to help people who need help but I cannot stand the fact that it also goes to some of those people who abuse it. I'm actually working hard to earn my money. Why should my tax dollars go to someone who is abusing the system

 

And she isn't working hard to raise her kid? So the bitch smokes cigarettes, it could be worse. She could have sold her food stamp card to buy crack and feed her kid ramen every night.
