I am working on a website for a company and they would like a virtual tour on there website of the facilities they have. I was wondering how I might go about this and what special equipment and software I might need. And what costs are associated with this. If anyone nows how this is done or has done any virtual tours any help would be great.
Like as in a 360 view? You need a digital camera with widelens perferably, then record going all around. I don't know the software you need. Search on google.
Yea i'm talking about a 360 view of like a room to show it off like you were standing in the middle of the room.
There are tons of fancy schmancy expensive programs that require users to download all kinds of crap onto their computer just to view it and it usually doesn't work and is really expensive, not to mention very poor crappy quality.
I'd suggest just getting a decent digital camera and taking about 6-8 pics of the room from diffrent angles.
