for basketball. do you have to break them in somehow? or should you be able to pull them out of the box, put them, and then play a game or two?

i ask because i got new shoes and played a couple of games and they tore my feet up. should i try to return them for something else, or try to break them in and see what they do?

You should have worn them around for a while before playing in them.

Sorry about your blisters h:.

you should wear them in first...you will def. get blisters if you just throw them on and have at it.

i think you are over obsessing about your shoes. get some adhesive backed velcro and attach to your leg to solve your tounge problem.

Ha, you're lucky. I was dumb enough to run 3 miles in brand new running shoes. I normally do 4-5 miles. I had to stop because my feet hurt so bad. When I removed the shoes half of my toenails had turned black on the underside (blood). After a few days the nails just plain fell off. It's been an entire year and they're now just getting back to normal.
