Last autocross near Philly at Boeing Helicopter Plant

Default Last autocross near Philly at Boeing Helicopter Plant

Last autocross near Philly til next year is at Boeing Helicopter Plant in Ridley Park, PA. Then we're back to Ripken Stadium in Aberdeen, MD:

1st Session:
*1st session starts with a mandatory meeting at 9:30 AM
*Suggested arrival time- 7:30 AM
* Registration and course opens for walking around 8:00am
* Registration closes 9:00am
* Tech closes at 9:15am
* Novice Walk at 9:20am and sporadically throughout the morning
* First car off 10:00am

2nd Session:
*2nd session starts with a mandatory meeting about 12:45 PM
*Suggested arrival time- 11:00 AM
* Registration opens around 10:30 AM
* Registration closes 12:00 PM
* Tech closes at 12:30 PM
* First car off 1:00 PM

There will be a 30-minute break between AM and PM sessions to allow for walk throughs, gridding of PM cars, lunch, etc. There will be no walk throughs between heats, only between sessions.

Heat 1 - STX, AS, BS, CS, ES
Heat 2 - SS, SM, SM2, ASP, BSP, CSP, DSP, ESP, FSP, All Prepared Classes
Heat 3 - FS, GS, HS, PRO, All Mod Classes,
Heat 4 - STS, STS2, STX2, STU, DS, Ladies, F125, Karts

Entry: $25 dollars for SCCA Members, $35 for non-SCCA members

Are those prices going up?

I remember when I went it was like $20-25 for non-SCCA members. Now it's $25 for memebers and $35 for non members. Damn. Maybe it's just that location.

Yeah everything is going up. Insurance is the big killer. Many insurance companies in general don't look upon any motorsports as a great way to keep business - especially with all the ricers and street racings ruining it for us.

That's why it pays to become an SCCA member so you save youself a couple bucks.
