giant squid photographed!!!!

Gosh I know you're TOTALLY excited like I am. I mean its architeuthis people! Like 3 miles under the sea, dinner plate sized eyeballed, plenty of dead specimens but none seen alive GIANT SQUID!

thats sweet i remember watching some special on the giant squid on discovery or something. the team searched for a long time and never found any

that "beam" is a rope/line with bait
and ive read the eyeballs can reach 18" in diameter
larger than most dinner plates ive seen
