Default I found a '91 CRX HF (what do you think)

FS 91 CRX HF
White exterior blue interior.
mileage 218,xxx on body & tranny
Used engine added last a year ago May. Mileage unkown. Runs like a top.
New brakes, rotors, brake fluid, spark plugs and wires, air filter, and tires this past May.
Battery is about 2 years old.
Added a used mirror on passenger side door. (HF's didn't have pass mirror.)
Oil and filter changed every 3k miles.
I usually get about 40 mgp city and 47 mpg highway. I have gotten a best of 51 mgp on the highway. The worst I have gotten is 36 mgp in the city. This isn't too bad looking of a crx for being 14 years old.

I'm selling it because it really isn't pratical for me having a family. I have a minivan and if that goes to the crapper all I have is this car and you can't really fit kids in the back with no back seat. Like I said not practical! That and the wife won't let me get anything else until I get this sold (Probably a good idea). I will send pics to anyone that is interested.

I may be looking at it this evening. Do you think I should shoot for this or continue with going after the DA? The guy selling the DA won't budge on the $1700 price. It's in "okay" shape cosmetically since it needs paint pretty bad, one exhaust tip is gone, gas cover won't close all the way, but it runs perfect, clean interior, cold a/c, and JVC detachable deck with 6disc changer in the trunk.

Decisions..Decisions.

Yeah they are scarce. The only ones I run across have swaps and are all riced out. This one is supposedly stock and thats what I want.

True dat. I don't want to get scammed and end up with a 20mpg POS.

RARE?! I can find a HF or DX everyday in the paper, now trying to find a SI is impossible.

Anyways, HF are dirt slow, and when i mean slow, i mean sloooooooooooooooooooooooooow. Not sure what your intentions on the car are...?

No modding intentions at all. I've been there and done that with 2 CRX's, both Si's. I wanted the HF specifically for the gas mileage.

Actually the DA has 170,xxx. I may have provided the wrong info before. The price is still kind of high but they sell pretty good in my area.

he wants a commuter that will give him amazing gas mileage, not looking for power. I haven't been able to find any HX's anywhere. Post up the ones you know of for sale.
