it was watkins glen. first of all, my friend's dad drove and it was probably one of the scariest rides ive ever taken. its like a 2 hour drive, he decided to try to take a shortcut, which was curve after curve after curve, after hill, after hill after hill.. hes goin like 80 in a tahoe the whole way, we easily passed 30 cars there and back.

anyways, we get there. pay a nice $55 dollars to get in (its the price for the whole weekend). we get there late and get to see the last 3 qualifiers for the irl, then they did the top 6 qualifiers in a 10 minute race, which was cool. there was a gt race that went on for like 2 hours, then we left.

the big question. should i drive 2 hours tommorow and watch the actual race? alone.

I've driven watkins in my POS accord several times h: I know a guy in the porsche club of america and they have an open track day down there...I need to buddy up with him when I get my S2K.

I hate the IRL/NASCAR races at the glen, too many people. you need to go to the porsche races with me and my buddies next year.
