Anybody else have a girl that takes forever to get ready? I know girls take time to put on make up, try on clothes and get all nice for us...but does it really take 30 minutes? Especially when just going out to grab a brunch? I called my girl just now and asked if she wanted to out and grab something to eat since I haven't eaten yet. She said, "Let me get ready"...so I asked her how long she needed. Her response..."How long can you give me?".


Now me, personally, I can get ready in 5 minutes, tops. I find my clothes, put them on, brush my teeth and I'm done. Her, on the other hand, takes 10+ to put on make up (she doesn't wear much at all, either), 5 minutes to pick out an outfit, 5 minutes to put them on, and the rest of the time is brushing teeth and fine tuning (I guess.)

I'll tell her a day in advance what time I'll be at her house to pick her up, I get there on time and still have to wait 5-10 minutes. I life punctuality, that just urks me.

Sorry for the rant, anybody else feel my pain?

But naw seriously. I think they like it when they're still getting ready when you get there. In fact I think that sometimes they purposely stall just in order to do that one last thing before rolling out.
But hey... I'm just a guy. :dunno:

if it only takes your girl 30 minutes to get ready, consider yourself lucky.

what i dont understand is when im supposed to be over at say 6.... and its like 6:02 and she calls me and is like "where are you?" :upset: and so i get there at say 6:10 and she is still 20 minutes from bein ready. wtf is that all about!!?!?! mad at me for bein late and you arent even ready....

hair (10x longer than guys)
face
dressing up

guys get ready
dressing up
hair ... sometimes.

But ... if you gotta leave at 6, and they're still getting ready ... that's because they're slow starters. There's no excuse for that.

Yeah, my girl has said that she just waits too long to start getting ready. I hate that...if I say I'm going to be there at a certain time to pick you up so we can get somewhere on time, I expect her to be ready...I hate being late for something...especially if it's not my fault.

i know...i have several like that. it's rather annoying.

this is why i always tell them to be ready @ say 5:30 but i really mean 6
