My mom always managed to keep me in line, despite being quite the hellraiser. When I moved in with my dad, I begun to get spoiled b/c he'd never get mad at me it seemed, and if he did, he'd always give in or apologize later on for pissing me off.

I was a pretty mild mannered kid so I didn't really need to be told not to act wild, I just didn't act wild :dunno:

I honestly don't remember to be honest with you. My mom never really took me to the store much, since she worked a lot. But considering how my bro and sis behave (mind you, my brother is autistic), I'm sure she didn't let me misbehave. Although I think those two are raised well and she never has to put her foot down.

I was too scared to cause a scene most of the time. My mother had been teaching and managing a classroom of emotionally disabled kids for 7 years prior to my birth, so she had a decade of experience in catching and "solving" behavior problems before I could even think on my own.

I was only spanked twice in my entire life. Combine my dad's strength and my mom's unnatural ability to mentally shrivel a kid who's causing trouble, and I basically never acted out :happysad:

Nope not that I remember. But I heard I was an energetic child, but my parents were not tolerant of that and neither am I.

I've had instances where a kid was running around in the store and ran into me and fell on their face. Parents looked at me like I was in the wrong. So many times I just wanted to say "Well if you would look after your child he wouldn't face plant on the floor when he ran into me".

You should have whooped his/her ass for the parents.

I was a well behaved child...a stare from my old man stern face and I was already scared shitless.

Nope, no acting crazy in public here.

I witnessed a bunch of kids running around in a restaurant acting crazy, the mom just kept saying "sit down!" After the 100th time she finally said "sit down, or your going to get a time out!" Of course, the kids didn't give a shit and continued to misbehave. The mom gave up and stopped trying. If it weren't illegal, I would have beaten the crap out of the kids and the mom.
