I had tickets to see James Earl Jones tonight at eight, and my friend was supposed to come with me. Suprise suprise, she's not picking up the phone and hasn't called, and I want to leave soon. I don't really want to go by myself and its such short notice that I'll be lucky if I get someone else.

No, he's performing shakespeare. My friend called me too late to tell me she forgot, and I was going to go anyway by myself, but I get there and they're charging $4 for parking. I didn't have cash on me, and it was too late to park in my lot and take the bus.
