just turn it on and look under the car.... also you should be able to hear any leaks....
Good luck...check for dirt in the paint. It'll look like little specks that stick up in the paint. That means it's been painted before and possible damaged. Check the fenders in the engine bay area to see if it looks like the bolts have been moved any, meaning it's been damaged/replaced before. Stuff like that can allow a couple hundred bucks of deduction.

start the car, follow the engine tone from the cat back and keep an ear out for "spudders"?
My car has a tiny hole in the Y pipe. It sounds likes a tiny helicopter. :hsugh:
