Default Update

Today I ran around with a friend in his WRX and measured two good runs. We did each on the same strip of land, one in each direction. The acceleromter was mounted pretty well this time, and re-zeroed for each run. The only big source of error in these is probably wind resistance (drag) and that I may not have the vehical mass exact (I estimated after looking up curb wieght, adding our body weights, luggage weight, and fuel wieght, all approximate).

The first blip is first gear, and the rest is second gear from about 2500 rpm up.

These numbers look a little high, I probably entered a mass greater than actual. Who knows, we'll weigh his car someday and figure it out. I weighed mine at a truch stop a couple days ago, it was great fun!

EDIT: Yea, I calculated the vehical weight wrong. With my new estimate (after know he only had 1/6 tank of gas in the car), the hp numbers are around 185 and 190.
