Default First Speeding Ticket

Okay so last night i was coming home from wal-mart qith 2 of my friends and i was traveling about 110 down 380 in PA if any one knows where that is and i passed a cop that i didnt even see but my one friend said there was a cop there and both my friends told me to run and like a Fing Moron i listened and i ran well i was prolly a good 2mi from the cop and by time then i was doing about 125mph and i was rushing to get off the exit ramp for tobyhanna and ran the stop sign and pulled into my drive way and turned the lights off and about 10 seconds later the cop comes hauling ass into my driveway and i get 2 safety driving awards one for running a stop sign which i dont know how he knew since he was sso far behind and another for doing 110 but he lowered the ticket down to 80mph and told me if i were to take this to court that he was goign to lite me up giving me a whole bunch of awards.

That Was one night that sucked and the funny thing is the cop said he was doing 140 trying to catch up to me. Guess The Tegs are just to fast

Consider yourself fortunate that you didn't lose control of your car at that speed, or cause some kind of accident. I'd shape up from here on out if I were you. 110 is just way to fast to be driving to and from Wal Mart. If you were here in CA you would not have received that slap on the wrist. The cop who pulled you over must have been seconds from being off w/a hot piece of ass waiting on him to let that slide.

I agree. I did the same kind o thing when I was 17 but I grew out of it fast. Haha cops will let you off if they hae somewhere else they would rather be. My bro got pulled over doing 80+ in a 35 through turns. The cop said he should arrest him but he would rather go home to his wife then do 3 hrs of paper work haha.

yea i know that i did a stupid move to do that but if you were there u might of dont the same thing also. running just seemed like the best idea at the time even though it was the worst thing to do because i could of gotten injured or killed or could of killed my 2 friends that were in the car and would have to live with that the rest of my life. so with a speeding ticket i was very happy to get that and not lose my license and not injure any body else.

From my own expirences and from friends I have found that if you pull over right away even if the cop hasn't turned his lights on and chased after you you will be better off. If he sees that you aren't trying to avoid him they are more likely to let you off.
