Not necessarily true. The pharmacy label will most likely say one year, but go with the dating on the box itself, it may be more or possibly even less than a year. If you get one, check the dating while you're still at the pharmacy (drugs can't be returned), and if it's really short (like if it had been sitting on the shelf for awhile), ask for one with better dating or for them to order you a new one.
