Default Yikes...

Story: travelling about 85 in the middle of a caravan of fast cars passing line of slow trucks and the rear tire blows. Choices are: car behind me, trucks to the right, median to the left. Chose the median. All was okay until we hit an evil-kneivel launch-ramp type sand dune, and over we went. No injuries, but car is a total loss. Very sad day.

Held up very well. IMO.

The car is a E39 528i in case anyone was wondering.

Also no injuries. All the passengers and the driver walked away without a scratch.

no idea, the driver said he had about 10000 miles on the tires and from the picture it looks like he had plenty of tread left. possibly hit a nail? or something who knows...

wow, that guy is lucky. Definitely shows the safety that the 5 series has though.

I-10 is an awesome highway. I love the 75mph speed limit.
