Yeah, you have to cross the Int'l dateline to get to us, so we're a day and 3 hours behind. That's why the west coast is so laid back

1. when the hell did 45 hours become "normal"

i didnt really notice the political shit during the first few years...i was just happy to have an office job, instead of standing up all day or getting dirty. but damn, it's nuts. i can't believe how much most of the dumbf*cks get paid either. for every genius here, there are 10 overpaid/lame/ass kissing placeholders on the org chart.

so now the question - well then why do you keep working there?

1) it's fairly steady
2) pay is good
3) i'm too much of a wuss to start my own business :happysad:

Yeah i love it. It's called salary when convenient for them. If you work over, your salary. Try working 35 hrs a week. When they complain tell them your salary, and "it will balance out in the end". Watch how quick they give you the 40 hr a week (HOURLY EMPLOYEE) BS.

:eek3:Wowzers to some of your work schedules. I guess I won't complain about my minimum of 5 hours of overtime required each week.

I'm glad I'm self employed. But it sucks that I have to have a night job just for health insurance. Teamster benefits > meh
