What car would you get for under $6,000 to do a 120 mile round trip commute?

It would have to be reliable, get good gas mileage and if possible a little fun to drive.


What do you think getting a miata or a civic coupe?

96-00 Civic HX Coupe 5 speed for teh win!!!

Or a Miata if you travel on twisty roads, but I wouldn't do it on the highway.

Miata Thats if you can fit in it comfortably. h:

Edit: It is waaay more than a little fun to drive. I average 30 mpg. You would probably get more since you'd be driving more on the highway.

civic ex.

mine got 45 mpg, it was fun to drive and had creature comforts. wouldnt even second guess it but next time, id like a 4 door.

If you're most worried about gas mileage I'd say an HF CRX...but most likely a 96ish civic coupe.
