Default Cell Phone - Flash memory

My nokia 6230 comes with a camera. It also comes with a MMC - Multimedia card. Upon opening my phone today, I realized it was a 32mb flash memory card. I put some things on the card through the phone's menu, and they easily popup on my computer. It also works the other way.

I have an HP printer with a flash card slot that shows up as Drive F:\ on my computer.

I just thought I'd share how easy it is to transfer data because of the use of common technology. Digital cameras often use flash memory, so my computer was already set up for that

I'd think they'd advertise this compatibility a bit more, but thasok.

Here are some images I've taken, that turned out rather well:

I have a Motorola MX200 with a 1gb mmc card. It doesn't take pictures though, only plays music and videos.

Wow those look pretty good. I was under the assumption that camera phones were still novelty items, but it appears they're incredibly useful.

My Sony Ericsson K750i has a 2MP camera w/ flash. It came with a 64MB Memory Stick Pro Duo, I upgraded to a 1GB Memory Stick Pro Duo. I have a card reader on my PC, so can go that route, or I can just use the USB cable that came with the phone. Either way, it's really easier to transfer MP3s, pictures, or themes from my PC to my phone, or transfer pictures from my phone to my PC.

Gotta love the K750i. So versatile for such a small phone. :goodjob:
