Default My first Photography Homework assignment...

Just wondering if anyone actually know what this means...

I was thinking like street lights on a parking lot, maybe headlights from a car, the sun shining thru trees... am i on the right idea?

the assignment asks for photos of objects under various lighting conditions.

and you're talking about taking pictures of light sources. except the sun through tree thing; that would work.

that's my take.

That's nothing at all like you described it in your last thread.

Anyway some more photos which might give you some ideas.

I had my friend put his hand on the guitar, in front of like a dark blue towel or something. I shined a desk lamp from the left of his hand or something along those line, pic was taken a while ago. The hand is like, coming out of nowhere to grab the guitar. That's a lighting effect.

Pretty basic street scene. But the light shining on the Marilyn Monroe mural kind of makes it seem like it's floating out from the rest of the picture even though it's just painted on the side of a building.

The neon tubes behind the sign letters sort of light up the bricks in the same shape as the letters. The letters themselves are silhouetted because they're in front of the lights.

This one's from my other thread I just posted but yeah. There's light reflecting off the surface of the water which shows the ripples, but you can also sort of see the tiles at the bottom of the pool.

Etc.
