i was thinking of putting in a year or two, then looking for something new, but senior management recognized and rewarded my hard work, so i'll stick around a bit longer.

I stand for 10 hours a day, sometimes experiencing periods of agony during slow business hours for ridiculously low pay.
People, especially the wealthy, snooty types don't understand that you're a human being and can be rather rude and condescending.
It pays the bills and should be somewhat beneficial with the knowlege i accumulate should I decide to take the Computer Science route in college.
