Default Tire Rack>*

Not only did they beat the price of the lowest local vendor by $50ea, it was for a tire that is superior to that of which I was quoted by said local vendor. And I got em in two days!!

I cannot comprehend how they get tires for so cheap. I've only been able to beat their price once on a set of Goodyears that I got a major hookup from a friend with.

Just curious as I've never used tirerack.com before, but when they recommend a place to mount the tires onto the wheels, is there a charge from the installer? That's the only reason why I don't use tirerack as the price to ship as well as mount would've negated the discount they offer on tires (as opposed to buying it locally and having it mounted).

I would think you have to pay to get them mounted/balanced. They just 'suggest' places to go.

I like Tire Rack also. Beats ANY local place even after shipping charges.
