So is this is a special edition DVD with deleted scenes and stuff that wasn't included in the original DVD release?

I've got the original without the extra "flair". Is it just me, or are deleted scenes, unrated versions, and directors cut overrated? I normally never watch them anyway because they are unfinished in low quality, and they must really suck if they didn't decide to use them in the actual film.
