Went down to $2.95 from $2.99. I filled up on Wed. and it was $2.89.

I normally keep my tank mostly empty to save weight during the week since I drive primarily short trips around town, bt I feared that there could be shortages in the comming weeks. A tank of gas will last me a month for just running errance around town.

Althouhg if there was a shortage, I would switch to using my motorccyle and bicycle most of the time. Motorcycle gets around 40 city/50 hwy from it's 900cc 4 cylinder and seems to run fine on 89 octane wiht 10% ethanol whic his cheapest in Iowa.

My bicycle consumes around 40 calories of food per mile.

 

I agree... it would be a good gesture for the oil companies ot take some of the additonal profits from the gas and oil price increase (beyond what it costs to repair their facilities) and donate it to the Red Cross.

 

Haven't checked since Saturday...but last time I saw 87 ranged from $2.99 to $3.24

 

filled up yesterday in socal for 2.93 for 89

I paid $3.25 9/10ths of a gallon for 91 octane yesterday.

 

Cheapest places around here are 329 ish for 87 Most places are in the 339-345 range locally
