I ordered from them, pretty decent except my transmission was garbage even though they warned me it might be, I still wasn't too happy. Also a motor mount bracket was kind of fucked up and I had to spend some time beding it back into shape to make it fit. Otherwise I'd probably do business with them again.

 

dont mean to hate but thats your fault if they told you that the tranny was probably bad and you still bought the swap...

 

I've been hearing good things about them for several years, but I haven't bought anything from them myself.

 

They said they've seen it happen alot, still I think it's stupid because they said the LSD transmissions tend to be an issue because a car with an LSD was probably beat on. However they installed a brand new LSD in my transmission which I am assuming was non-LSD before, why else would they waste the money on an expensive new Kaaz unit? I think they couldn't find one with a stock helical LSD so instead of making me wait longer which was pissing me off since I specified and paid an extra $300 for LSD they just put the one I have in which is great because it acutally costs more than twice that. They didn't say I'd have issues if I ordered a non-LSD transmission, but it was a non-LSD transmission which had 30k miles on the odometer of the front clip on it according to them and it was bad when I got it. A manual transmission going bad in 30k miles? I think that's kind of ridiculous.

Well this transmission was only putting power to one wheel, not 4!

I don't even think it was beat bad, the motor attached to it doesn't burn an ounce of oil, and burning oil is very common for a beat B16a and therefore a beat transmission.

I bet it almost lays a good pair of strips, aside from the fact that one is darker and starts about ten feet earlier. :reechy:

seriously tho...steve does a good job at Hmotorsonline. they send out clean well packaged USED motors. Dont expect them to be brand new from the factory. they warrant starups...everything else is beyond their control.

 

That's true, and Steve did do a good job helping me out. Like I said, I'd do business with them again.
