Default TunerFriends.com Revs Up Social Networking

Toronto, Ontario - September 4, 2005 -- On August 31, 2005, VerticalScope Inc, owners of Modified Magazine, announced the launch of TunerFriends. (www.tunerfriends.com). TunerFriends is a tuner enthusiast community with extensive profiles, pictures, journals, personal and vehicle information, message boards, and clubs.

TunerFriends brings car enthusiasts together in a social networking environment similar to that of popular sites such as MySpace and Friendster. TunerFriends is unique in that it is strictly focused on car lovers – a tightly bound group of enthusiasts. Many users compare the site to that of an online “coffee shop hangout” where tuners can show off their cars, and make new friends at the same time.

TunerFriends aims to bring together enthusiasts of all types of vehicles. It does not replace other forum sites on the Internet which promote technical discussion of one make or model of vehicle, but rather provides a unique site for enthusiasts of all types to come together. TunerFriends already has over 1,000 members, and is growing rapidly. Its launch has been supported by Modified Mag, Modified Luxury & Exotics, and Modified Mustangs magazines.

VerticalScope President Rob Laidlaw says, “TunerFriends is the evolution of social networking sites. It brings car enthusiasts of all types together onto a platform where they can show-off their vehicle, meet new friends, plan event attendance, join clubs and discuss their personal lives. It is unique in its equal focus on both personal and vehicle profiles.”

Thanks for the heads-up. Quite honestly I'm not too crazy about this but I went ahead and secured the usernames DC2 and AP2.

No thanx. After reading this, "If I do get them I think I would most likely opt for the EDFC...my buddy has it, says it makes a big diff." from a post in the suspension forum, I don't think I'll join. =)
