Default why does GM keep extending the employee discount?

they keep extending it, they might as well adjust their MSRP to the discount price.

Because they're afraid of what will happen when they do end it...word is that they will adjust vehicle MSRP to reflect 'market value', whatever that is. I guess the MSRP on a Malibu Classic will be like $1500.

They can't think of another incentive after this. GM created the best consumer deal of all time, and there's no following it up.

GM Sucks. Fords Sucks. Saturn Sucks. Dodge sucks.

The only good thing is the Jaguar and the Pick-ups. Everything else is shlt. With 2 exception. the Hummer and the Escalade oh yeah, the Navigator.

Okay.

But anyway, it's been a success for them, so they're trying to move as many units as possible. If it works, why mess with it

Why not just lower MSRP? People like to think they're getting a bargain. Plus, if they lower MSRP, people will try and bargain the price down even more.

Doesnt look like its working.

On my way to school and work, I see empty GM lots filled with cars. No one in site. Not even the sales people.
Nissan, Infiniti, and BMW seem to be doing extremely well. There lots are always packed. I think I saw 4 guys from GMC at checking out the G35. haha.

GMAC makes billions per year. As long as they're selling cars, they can still dupe people into paying loads of interest.
