That's why I don't have any that start before 9 AM. I used to have several 8:00 Am's with a 65 mile commute one way. But back then I was young and dumb.

8:30 class here.. i like morning classes, though, once you're up, its not bad. then you got the rest of the day for whatever

not when your 8am is the beginning of a 9 hour day of classes...i go 8 - 5:30 with minimal breaks

that sucks! if my arabic class was that early, i'd kill myself.

 

It's murder, especially for exams. But it's the prof's choice, and I'm high enough level that there's only one section.

Actually, two years ago I had 8 am Japanese and 9 AM French. One day there were exams in both classes. I wanted to jump out the window.



How is arabic, by the way? They offer some intro classes here and I've thought about picking it up.

 

very intimidating at first, but the language basics are rather easy. when you get into the more advanced grammatical stuff it gets a bit confoozling.

 

Sounds exactly like Japanese.

After taking Japanese, going into French was just a joke. I think I could pick up all the romance languages if I felt like it now.
