To make a long story short, I bought a spindle of thier TDK cd-r's on sale, ad says 80pk, I ended up with a 50pk, called the mgr to get my other 30, was told no problem, come in and they'd take care of it for me. Got a call back 10 minutes later saying "sorry, we have a disclaimer on the display acknowledging the typo and clarifying that it's for a 50pk"

So instead of paying a little over 9 cents ea disc, I paid 15 cents ea:upset:

 

I'm guessing about .25 each .. factoring in time, effort, and cost of gas.

 

did you "see" this disclaimer or by chance did it fall down? :rick:

I was denied the possibility of seeing said disclaimer as the fat kid who worked the dept handed them to me....true story.

I guess, it's not too bad, but 9 cents is better. Oh well, I imagine there will be some good Labor day sales this weekend so I'll just chalk this one up as a loss. Or maybe I can call at night and talk to a different mgr/supervisor and see what happens:rick:

 

Update: If you are in Alabama thats like $1 a disc.

 

Squeeky wheel gets the oil. You can pressure them on this and if you didn't see it... they must aquit.

 

this is true. I guess it's worth making another phone call...if "Chunk" wouldn't have been rushing me since it was 2 minutes to closing, maybe I would have had time to realize the typo and make a decision on the spot.
