Imagine if your next Mac cost you only $300, and ran faster than any G4 or G5 you've ever used.
That future may already be unfolding: Hackers have found a way to bypass a chip designed to prevent the Mac OS from running on non-Apple PCs, which are often cheaper than Macs.

Kick ass I am going to have to read up a bit more on this because I would like to make the switch to Mac altogether...but this just makes it easier.

oh well. even tho im a mac user...i still didnt agree with the sudden Intel chipset changeover. Maybe Jobs has something up his sleeve for the next gen Macs. Who knows.
As for now... it'll be great to see more OSX users....welcome to the light.

There are actually quite a few reasons why you would want to do this but that is probably the single most obvious reason.
