7995 for two cars that get that kind of mileage doesn't seem too bad to me.

Put one away, when the first one wears out, sell it and use the second one that's still new.

It is.

They have been doing a lot of this kind of promotion over the last year. A dealer here in Portland was giving away a free Kia with every new Chevy purchase...kind of like a spare care to keep in the trunk in case you run out of gas.

With a 10 year/100000 mile warranty you can't go wrong. I had a Kia Optima as a rental car once and it was actually pretty nice for what it was.

1 take the free car and sell it off asap
2 apply the profit towards the car you wanted to keep
3 walk away with a shorter payment period?
