Does duct tape really work?

I'm guessing that this thing on my thumb is a wart, and I was told by a friend that if I wrap my finger in duct tape, that the wart will go away (for about a week). Would this actually work?

You can buy those little kits now...they have this thing to freeze the wart, then you take an icepick and blow it off.

Its gross... but I always self operate.

Either with a scalpal and no pain killers... or my teeth. But its bloody... and it hurts so good. Then pour peroxide or alcohol right on it.

Not really a full blown wart. Just looks like a pimple on my finger. Can't explain it, but you can't really see it.

jp man... they got them wart remover kits you can get otc. they even have those bandaids you can use and theyll just dissapear. or you can use fire and melt it off. :eek3:

Duct tape on a wart? That's a new one. Why would duct tape be any different than regular tape?
