Derek he's thinking on a smaller scale, take it easy on him. I'd say very few people in the import world are the "first" to do something, and Pat knows that.

I thinking about getting an 05 RSX-S with the lowering springs, fogs, wheels and deck lid spoiler....

And I'm sure somebody will say I copied whatshisface or something. But what can you do?

Yeah but whatshisface isn't living NEXT DOOR. Copy Cats make me ill. It isn't about what is, or isn't origional. It's about wanting what your friends/neighbors have.

Just sell him your CRX for big PROFIT. Move on to next cool project he will want. Repeat PROFIT.

I guess he just wants to be me, because last night, i was just being funny @ a party, and wore my socks like you cali guys ( the high socks ) just to see what people on the east coast would say...

Now today i go over hsi house, and he is rocking socks like that...

you guys on the west coast wear socks up to your knees?
If you wore things like that here in n.y you might get jumped by a bunch of queers.

have you made any attempt to talk to him? Maybe try to pursuade him of the advantages of walking his own road. Either way, its the driver that makes the car, not the other way around

he just keeps telling me...

"yea dude, bronze slips, like 3 shades darker green then yuor car, jdm tails, vision mirrors..."

I never said my car or me were an inovater(sp?)... I'm just saying i try and keep things orginal and clean, and some of the parts, like my vision mirrors, i rarely ever see on cars online, and in ever seen them on iother crx in person..same goes with my color and such...

basically i'm not calling my self the first guy to do some of things i have done to my car, but i sure as hell think its clean, and orginal..

and to have someone want to copy my style is pretty fucking gay...

sure i copied things off others, but not their exact car...

It could also be that he just seriously wants your approval about on his project. Maybe he sees you as the coolest relative or friend that he has and he figures what you're doing is working, so.... if it aint broke don't fix it... who knows?

It might help if you work with him a little on his car, and at some point say to him "I wish I had done this and this with my car..." maybe you could be suggestive and encourage more originality that way.
That or find him a better deal on some different wheels. Either way. I say work on it because he's family and sometimes they make great friends.

And now, I need a shot of insulin.....
