this is a major problem as our supply of middle east and gulf oil will drop substantially and it takes days to restart...i heard something like 33% of our oil comes through a receiving plant near new orleans...i can see gas going to $3 for regular pretty soon

This time it's for real, I have lived here 25 years and never ran from a hurricane. But if this hits our city is going to be 10 feet under water because New Orleans is the lowest below sea level in the US. Can you say toilet bowl h:

Yeah, this is gonna suck. I didn't have power for over 2 weeks after Ivan hit last Sept., we'll see what happens this time. 90-100 degree days suck with NO A/C. P'cola is still has stuff layin' around from last year's hurricanes.

People give CA crap about having Earthquakes, Earthquakes that cause damage like every 20 years -- yet the Souf gets a damn Hurricane, or five, every year!!!

Good luck guys, board up and move the fuck out!

now they are projecting Nawlins to be under roughly 20ft of water, 30-35ft in some areas.
