Default whats your favorite cut for steak?

mine has to be ribeye. i bought a couple of rib steaks yesterday so i wonder how it will turn out

Ribeye, one of the best ones I've had was at Michael Jordan's.

I really dont know why its called filet mignon, cause its not a filet most of the time. if the grains go up and down its a steak, if the go from side to side its a filet.
