Default delayed reaction....

well ive been thinkin about getting a replacement for the ram (sick of the MPG) and only looking at trucks but now im starting to consider something to replace the ram and the integra (only have one car :happysad: )

last nite i saw a WRX, it was at least mostly stock and although i never really paid much attention to them, i realized it wouldnt be a bad car for me,... i like the way they look, i know they have pretty good performance numbers and it wouldnt suck in the winter to have AWD :dunno:

soo enough of the :blah: just wondered what you guys know about them and if any of you have any wrench time with them, how are they to work on in terms of basic/regular maint. for a fairly decent DIY mechanic?

i mean yeah, they are fast, but if you are looking for quality look in another direction. awd is an awesome feature if you are in a snowy climate but i have always been a bit sketched about their motors. my family has owned 4 subaru's and 3 blew head gaskets. i dunno, just my 2 cents.

its faster than my integra,.... thats nice but thats not why im interested (primarily) its just a nice detail... it gets better mpg than my ram and its capable of driving in snow (unlike my integra) has 4 doors, thats nice too...

so yeah thanks for the heads up on that maintanence issue, how many miles did the cars have when the head gaskets blew?
