what a load of crap, they threaten Hawaii with distribution cuts if they cap them on costs at the pump..now if that doesnt smack of a load of poop on the true supply issue.. we arent low on supply or refineries after all, if u read where they will shut the refinery down if capped on prices.. fine lets price cap all of the US Canada Mexico Europe and see what they do about distribution cuts.. so the caps maybe something that might work they seem threatened by it. while we are at it lets cap the prescription drug costs and healthcare costs in this country too. we pay the most for healthcare then any other industrialized nation and get the least for it.. i hope it works, something needs to be done about the way americans and others are being beaten down by the pursuit of profits..drunks usually get real upset when u try to limit their distructive behavior..time for an oil price intervention.. go Hawaii

Simple supply and demand, if you put an artificial ceiling on price, you will create shortage, it is not that complex

we can thank governmental micromanagement and the affinity of the US populous for lawsuits for the elevated price of prescription drugs and healthcare in general. go subsidised healthcare
