where can I buy a cigarette lighter socket?
I dont want the ones that have 3 holes in them.
I want the one that is just the socket with the two wires sticking out of them so i could put it behind my dash for my little project with my radar detector.

I have one with four. I got it for cheap from Wally World. Still works well after 2 years.

 

why not wire the power for the radar detector on the opposite side of the cigarette adapter?

Uh why not hard wire it into the fuse box? That's what I did.
